Sample Itinerary
1st Day: Depart USA
Assemble JFK International Airport.
2nd Day: Ngorongoro
With a connection in Nairobi.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and proceed through immigration and baggage collection. Met by a our Airport Representative and drive to Karatu (250 kms, 3 hours drive approx). Check in at your lodge. Dinner and overnight.
Ngorongoro Oldeani Lodge (D).
3rd Day: Ngorongoro
After an early breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch box and descend on the crater floor for a full day of game drive. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Oldeani Lodge (B, L, D).
4th Day: Lake Manyara-Tarangire
After breakfast depart and drive to Lake Manyara National Park (70 kms, 1 Hours drive approx). Enjoy a morning game drive followed by lunch at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. After lunch depart and drive to Tarangire National Park (135 kms, 2 hours drive approx). Enjoy an afternoon game drive en-route to the lodge. Check in, dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge (B, L, D).
5th Day: Tarangire - Amboseli
Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. This morning depart with a picnic lunch box and drive to Amboseli via Arusha (455 kms, 7 hours drive approx). Immigration formalities at the Namanga border and vehicles will be changed, meet with your Kenya drivers and proceed to the park. Arrive at 3 PM and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. Check in, dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge (B, L, D).
6th Day: Amboseli - Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge. Head out for a full morning game drive in the park followed by lunch at the lodge. After lunch depart and drive to Nairobi (250 kms, 4.5 hours drive approx). Upon arrival transfer to your chosen hotel. Dinner tonight will be at The Carnivore Restaurant. Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel (B, L, D).
7th Day: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, depart and drive to the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve (330 kms, 6.5 hours drive approx). Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Late afternoon enjoy an extensive game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge (B, L, D).
8th Day: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy a morning Hot Air Balloon flight over the Mara Plains followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Lunch at the lodge. Late afternoon enjoy an extensive game drive in the reserve. Compliment your afternoon game drive with a Sundowner cocktail at a location with spectacular views of the setting tropical sun. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge (B, L, D).
9th Day: Mara-Lake Elmenteita
After breakfast depart and drive to Lake Elmenteita (275 kms, 5 hours drive approx). Arrive in time for lunch at the camp. Lunch will be served at the camp. In the afternoon enjoy a guided walk on the shores of the lake, followed by a game drive in the Soysambu Conservancy. Dinner and overnight at Serena Lake Elmenteita Luxury Camp (B, L, D).
10th Day: Nairobi - Depart
Enjoy an early breakfast at the camp. This morning depart and drive to Nairobi (150 kms, 2.5 hours drive approx). Upon arrival transfer to Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphange followed by a visit to Giraffe Centre and Karen Blixen Museum. Lunch will be served at Tamambo Karen Blixen Restaurant. After lunch enjoy some free time for last minute shopping. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport stop en-route for dinner and to freshen up before your flight back home (B, L, D)
11th Day: Arrive JFK With Wonderful Memories
