Sample Itinerary

1st Day: Tel Aviv / Nazareth

Welcome at the airport and departure to Haifa, modern port city where we will visit the Mount Carmel with Elijah’s Cave and Basilica of Stella Maris. We will also see the impressive Bahai Garden. In the late afternoon, arrival in Nazareth, the capital of Galilee. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

2nd Day: Nazareth / Cana / Tabor

After breakfast, departure to Nazareth and the Basilica of the Annunciation. Next to the basilica, we will visit Church of St. Joseph with the ruins of ancient carpentry. After lunch, we will visit Cana of Galilee, through the Valley of Esdraelon. We ascend to the Mount Tabor where the transfiguration of Jesus took place. In the late afternoon, return to Nazareth. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

3rd Day: Nazareth / Tabga / Cafarnaum / Tiberias

Breakfast and departure to the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. Then proceed to Tagba where the miracle of the Loaves and Fishes took place; Church of the Primacy, place of St. Peter’s confirmation. In Capernaum we will visit the remains of the ancient synagogue where Jesus preached. Then we will carry out the pilgrimage by boat on the Sea of Galilee. Lunch will be held in a traditional Kibbutz. In the afternoon, we will go to Caesarea Philippi, where we will visit the Jordan River and the Banias Springs, with the renewal of baptism. In the late afternoon, return to Nazareth. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

4th Day: Nazareth / Jericho / Qumran / Dead Sea

Breakfast and departure to Jericho, the oldest city in the world. We will visit there the Mount of Temptation and Zacchaeus Sycamore tree. Proceed to Qumran, where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Accommodation at a hotel by the sea.

5th Day: Dead Sea / Nablus / Jerusalem

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will make a unique experience. We will know a Christian community in the Holy Land. As we know, Christians are a minority in Israel, and so it is very important to be with them, celebrating the Mass with this community. After that, we will know Jacob’s Well. Lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue on to Jerusalem. We begin our tours to the holy city, with the ascent of Mount Scopus, where we will have a spectacular view of the city. At the end of the day, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

6th Day: Jerusalem

Breakfast. Then proceed to the Via Dolorosa and performing the Via Sacra, which ends on Mount Calvary and the Holy Sepulcher, where the Mass will be held. After lunch, we will visit the Mount of Olives, the Church of the Ascension, and the Church of the Pater Noster, the Garden of Gethsemane, Dominus Flevit, and the Tomb of Virgin Mary. Return to the hotel. Dinner.

7th Day: Jerusalem

Breakfast and visit to the Dome of the Rock (if it is open to tourists), and the Western Wall. Continuing our tour, we will arrive at Mount Zion and visit the Tomb King David, the Dormition Abbey and the Last Supper Room. Celebration of the Mass. Lunch. Free afternoon for shopping at the Arab market. Dinner at the hotel

8th Day: Jerusalem / Ein Karen / Bethlehem / Jerusalem

Breakfast and visit to Ein Karen, place of birth of John the Baptist and the Church of the Visitation. We will continue to Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity, Grotto of St. Jerome and the Milk Grotto. Return to Jerusalem, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

9th Day: Jerusalem / Emmaus / Tel Aviv

Breakfast. On the way we will celebrate the Mass in Emmaus. We will continue to Jaffa, where we will have a beautiful panoramic view of the city and visit the Church of St. Peter. Lunch. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

10th Day: Tel Aviv / Ben Gurion

Transfer to Tel Aviv airport for departure.
